Incredibly hard to find these and the 605s in the UK, especially earlier models like this one. I really do love the look of them, and my interest in them has been increased by films such as Ronin. I think they're really rather handsome, and I prefer the rear design of the pre-facelifts to the slightly more common later models. Are the wheels alloys? I have a feeling they might be- a very nice design IMO. This is my first early Safrane in the UK, but I've seen a couple of later ones. This is a pretty early one on a K reg, and is early 1993, but the first were 1992 built, and I imagine on a J plate. I think this one might've been used for towing trailers or caravans, judging by the extra mirror and the towbar. Probably decent pullers. The 2.0 RT is pretty low spec for one of these, I think only the RN was lower.
