Juin 1899 - Accidents de travail.
— Le sieur Louis Baujean, 27 ans, terrassier à Fontenay-le-Marmion, est tombé sous un train de wagonnets dont il serrait le frein et a eu une jambe broyée. Le malheureux, qui est marié depuis peu et a un enfant en bas âge, a été transporté à l'hôtel-Dieu de Caen, où l'amputation de la jambe a été pratiquée.
— Samedi, un bien triste accident s'est produit aux carrières de Perrières. Le sieur Louis Pochon, 35 ans était monté sur un des wagonnets qui servent à transporter le caillou de la carrière à la gare de Jort. En voulant descendre, ce malheureux glissa, tomba sur la voie et les wagonnets lui passèrent sur une jambe qui fut broyée et presque détachée au-dessus du genou. (Source : Le Bonhomme Normand)
Septembre 1926 - Accident aux carrières.
— M. Georges Trouillard, 30 ans, charretier aux carrières de l'Ouest, conduisait un cheval traînant des wagonnets. Soudain, il tomba en travers des rails, ne perdant pas son sang-froid, il fit arrêter le cheval, mais il fut cependant atteint à la cuisse gauche qui cala le wagonnet. M. Trouillard reçut les soins du docteur Fernagut, de Saint-Pierre-sur-Dives, qui fit transporter le blessé à l'hôpital de Falaise.

June 1899 - Accidents at work.
— Louis Baujean, aged 27, digger at Fontenay-le-Marmion, fell under a wagon train while applying the brake and had his leg crushed. The unfortunate man, who had recently married and had a young child, was taken to the Hôtel-Dieu hospital in Caen, where his leg was amputated.
— On Saturday, a very sad accident occurred at the Perrières quarries. Louis Pochon, aged 35, had climbed onto one of the wagons used to transport gravel from the quarry to the station at Jort. As he tried to get off, the unfortunate man slipped and fell on the track, and the wagons ran over his leg, which was crushed and almost detached above the knee (Source: Le Bonhomme Normand).
September 1926 - Accident at the quarries.
— Mr Georges Trouillard, aged 30, a cart driver at the western quarries, was driving a horse pulling wagons. Suddenly, he fell across the tracks. Never losing his composure, he stopped the horse, but was nevertheless hit in the left thigh, which stalled the wagon. Mr Trouillard was treated by Dr Fernagut from Saint-Pierre-sur-Dives, who had the injured man taken to hospital in Falaise.
