I am Associate Professor at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Department of Nanobiotechnology and Deputy Head of the Institute of Biophysics, Vienna, Austria. I am author of numerous scientific articles (100+) and have given invited lectures at many international conferences. My main interests are two-dimensional protein crystals, in particular bacterial surface layer proteins (S-layers), biomimetic membranes, and hybrid organic-inorganic nanostructures.
