God of War III[1] ist ein für 2010 angekündigtes Computerspiel für die PlayStation 3. Es ist der fünfte und finale Teil der Serie. Und neben der God of War Collection das zweite Spiel für die PlayStation 3. Die Handlung schließt direkt an God of War II an.
Es wurde von den Spike Video Game Awards als eines der meist erwarteten Spielen des Jahres 2010 ausgezeichnet.[2]
Eine Demo des Spiels ist in der God of War Collection und in der District 9 Blu-ray enthalten.[3] [4]
Neben dem normalen Release wird es auch Collectors Edition unter dem Namen God of War III: Ultimate Trilogy Edition[5] geben, die neben God of War III auch die God of War Collection enthält sowie einen Soundtrack und zusätzliche Spielinhalte.
