• Das Aussehen von Diskussionsseiten ändert sich für alle Wikis außer Commons, Wikidata und den meisten Wikipedias (ein paar Wikis haben diese Designänderung bereits erhalten). Du kannst dir auf Diff Details zu den Änderungen durchlesen. Es ist möglich, in den Benutzereinstellungen diese Änderungen zu deaktivieren ("Diskussionsaktivität anzeigen"). Die Einführung wird in den kommenden Wochen in den verbleibenden Wikis erfolgen. [1][2]
• Benutzeroberflächenadministratoren haben mit der Einführung von SiteAdminHelper mehr Kontrolle über das Aussehen von Artikelkomponenten in der mobilen Ansicht. Weitere Informationen dazu, wie Styles deaktiviert werden können, finden sich auf der Seite der Erweiterung. [3]
• Wikimedia Enterprise hat zur vorhandenen geparsten Infobox Artikeltextabschnitte im JSON-Format und ein kuratiertes Kurzbeschreibungsfeld hinzugefügt. Diese Erweiterung der API ist auch über Wikimedia Cloud Services verfügbar. [4]

Anstehende Änderungen im Verlauf der Woche

• Die neue Version der MediaWiki-Software wird auf dem Testwiki und MediaWiki.org ab dem 7. Mai verfügbar sein. Auf Nicht-Wikipedia-Wikis und einigen Wikipedias vom 8. Mai. Auf allen Wikis ab dem 9. Mai (Kalender). [5][6]
• Auf der Seite Spezial:Logbuch hat die erste Ansicht die Bezeichnung "Alle öffentlichen Logbücher", jedoch wird nur ein Teil der Logbücher angezeigt. Die Bezeichnung wird nun "Zentrale öffentliche Logbücher" lauten. [7]

Zukünftige Änderungen

• Es wird ein neuer Dienst als Ersatz für die Erweiterung:Graph entwickelt. Details finden sich in den letzten Neuigkeiten zu dieser Erweiterung.
• Ab dem 21. Mai werden die Englischsprachige Wikipedia und die Deutschsprachige Wikipedia die Möglichkeit erhalten, "Link hinzufügen" zu aktivieren. Dies ist Teil der progressiven Einführung des Werkzeugs für alle Wikipedias. Diese Communitys können die Funktion lokal aktivieren und konfigurieren. [8]

• A new UI mode is available for the online validator for EntitySchemas. It represents validation reports as a table rather than a very long string, and replaces most links with hyperlinks with some of the text behind them; making them easier to read. Currently being tested at https://shex-validator.toolforge.org/packages/shex-webapp/doc/shex-simple-improved.html, we are looking for participants to evaluate this tool. Some experience with editing Wikidata is appreciated, but no experience working with Schemas is required. If you are interested, you can sign up here. We hope to begin interviews around May 13. Who wrote that? ist eine nützliche Browsererweiterung, die in Wikipedia-Artikeln Informationen zur Autorenschaft anzeigt. Durch einfaches Bewegen des Mauszeigers über einen Abschnitt hebt das Tool automatisch alle Inhalte desselben Autors hervor. Ein Klick auf einen Abschnitt offenbart nicht nur den Autor, sondern auch die genauen Details der Bearbeitung. Mit WWT könnt ihr problemlos die Quelle und den Kontext einer Bearbeitung erkunden, ohne die Versionsgeschichte durchsuchen zu müssen.

Kurioses

Straßen sind ab und an nach einem Datum benannt, so beispielsweise die Straße des 17. Juni in Berlin. Für Ben Ashforth hat sich da direkt die Frage gestellt, ob es für jeden Tag im Jahr eine entsprechende Straße gibt und wie man diese möglichst effizient nacheinander besuchen kann. Neues aus der Artikelwerkstatt

Beim Wettbewerb zum Artikel des Quartals im März hat Ankermast mit diesem Artikel den zweiten Platz belegt.

Die Man Gyong Bong 92 (koreanisch 만경봉 92, auch Mangyongbong 92) ist ein nordkoreanisches Passagierschiff, das als Fähre und Kreuzfahrtschiff eingesetzt wurde. Zwischen seiner Indienststellung im Jahr 1992 und 2006 diente es zum Passagier- und Frachttransport zwischen Nordkorea und Japan. Nachdem der Schiffsverkehr von Japan untersagt worden war, wurde die Man Gyong Bong 92 zu einem Kreuzfahrtschiff umgebaut und veranstaltete eine einzige Reise, bevor der Betrieb ausgesetzt wurde. Seit der Außerdienststellung 2013 ist das Schiff in Wŏnsan aufgelegt und hat nur noch vereinzelte Fahrten unternommen.  – Zum Artikel …

Letzte Änderungen

• Auf Wikisource gibt es eine Spezialseite zur Auflistung von Seiten von Werken ohne zugehörige Bilder von Scans. Du kannst nun das neue magische Wort __EXPECTWITHOUTSCANS__ nutzen, um bestimmte Seiten (Liste von Ausgaben oder Übersetzungen eines Werkes) von dieser Liste auszuschließen. [17]
• Wenn du die Benutzereinstellung "Vorschau ohne Neuladen der Seite anzeigen" nutzt, wird die Funktion "Vorschau der Seite mit dieser Vorlage anzeigen" für Vorlagen auch funktionieren, ohne die Seite neu zu laden. [18]
• Kartographer-Karten können nun über das Attribut alt= einen alternativen Text angeben. Dies ist identisch zur Nutzung des Attributs alt= in der Syntax für Bilder und Galerien. Eine Ausnahme für diese Funktion sind Wikis wie Wikivoyage, bei denen die Miniaturkarten interaktiv sind. [19]
• Die alte Guided Tour für die "Neuen Filter zur Bearbeitungsüberprüfung" wurde entfernt. Sie wurde 2017 erstellt, um Personen mit älteren Konten zu zeigen, wie sich die Benutzeroberfläche geändert hat und wurde nun von den meisten Personen aus der Zielgruppe gesehen. [20]

Anstehende Änderungen im Verlauf der Woche

• Die neue Version der MediaWiki-Software wird auf dem Testwiki und MediaWiki.org ab dem 14. Mai verfügbar sein. Auf Nicht-Wikipedia-Wikis und einigen Wikipedias vom 15. Mai. Auf allen Wikis ab dem 16. Mai (Kalender). [21][22]
• Die Ergebnisseite für Spezial:Suche wird nun zur besseren Zugänglichkeit CSS-Flex-Attribute statt einer Tabelle verwenden. Wenn du ein Helferlein oder Skript hast, das Suchergebnisse anpasst, solltest du dein Skript auf die neue HTML-Struktur anpassen. [23]

Zukünftige Änderungen

• Im Skin Vector 2022 werden Hauptseiten (wie Spezialseiten) in ganzer Breite angezeigt. Das Ziel ist, die Anzahl von Zeichen je Zeile groß genug zu halten. Dies steht in Zusammenhang mit den kommenden Typografieänderungen in Vector 2022. Mehr erfahren. [24]
• Zwei Spalten der Datenbanktabelle pagelinks (pl_namespace und pl_title) werden bald abgeschafft. Benutzer müssen stattdessen zwei Spalten der neuen Tabelle linktarget nutzen (lt_namespace und lt_title). In vorhandenen SQL-Abfragen:
  1. JOIN pagelinks durch JOIN linktarget und pl_ durch lt_ in der Aussage ON ersetzen
  2. Darunter JOIN pagelinks ON lt_id = pl_target_id hinzufügen

• Die Funktion Massenlöschung, mit der Administratoren massenhaft Seiten löschen können, wird nun auch Seiten löschen, die verschoben wurden. [27]
• Es wurden Änderungen am Hochladeassistenten auf Wikimedia Commons vorgenommen: Das Gesamtlayout wurde durch ein neues Design und Abstände für das Formular und seine Felder verbessert; die Überschriften und Hilfstexte für jedes Feld wurden geändert; das Beschreibungsfeld ist jetzt ein Pflichtfeld und Benutzer haben die Möglichkeit, ihre Beschreibung in die Medien-Kurzbeschreibung zu kopieren. Anstehende Änderungen im Verlauf der Woche

• Die neue Version der MediaWiki-Software wird auf dem Testwiki und MediaWiki.org ab dem 21. Mai verfügbar sein. Auf Nicht-Wikipedia-Wikis und einigen Wikipedias vom 22. Mai. Auf allen Wikis ab dem 23. Mai (Kalender). [30][31]
• Das HTML, das zur Darstellung aller Überschriften verwendet wird, wird geändert, um die Zugänglichkeit zu verbessern. Es wird am 22. Mai in einigen Skins (Timeless, Modern, CologneBlue, Nostalgia und Monobook) geändert. Bitte teste Helferleins in deinem Wiki mit diesen Skins und melde alle damit verbundenen Probleme, damit sie behoben werden können, bevor diese Änderung in allen anderen Skins vorgenommen wird. Die Entwickler erwägen auch die Einführung einer Gadget-API zum Hinzufügen von Schaltflächen zu Abschnittsüberschriften, wenn dies für Ersteller von Werkzeugen hilfreich wäre, und würden sich über jeden Input freuen, den du dazu hast.

Geiranger Church (Norwegian: Geiranger kyrkje) is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Stranda Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It is located in the village of Geiranger, and the end of the famous Geirangerfjorden. It is the church for the Geiranger parish which is part of the Nordre Sunnmøre prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Møre. The white, wooden church was built in an octagonal design in 1842 using plans drawn up by the architect Hans Klipe. The church seats about 165 people.
