Hello, could you please inform where you obtained the list of pastors?
Is it possible that Georg Lindner was pastor at St.-Johannes-Evangelist-Kirche (Stettin) AND Sankt Nicolai- Johannis- Kirche as I have seen a postcard dated the 11 of April 1936 that one of Georg Lindner's sons stated "Sankt Nicolai- Johannis- Kirche (Father`s church)
OR

- Wie im umseitigen Artikel steht, wurde 1817 die Nikolaigemeinde mit der Johannesgemeinde fusioniert, es bestand dann bis 1945 die Nikolai-Johannis-Gemeinde. Möglicherweise wurde dieser gemeinsame Name dann im Sprachgebrauch auf das Kirchengebäude übertragen, so könnte sich der Ausdruck „Sankt Nicolai-Johannis-Kirche“ erklären. Thank you. The information I have is that:
The building of St. Nicolai was destroyed around 1812 by Napoleon’s troops.
Since 1817 St. Johannis and St. Nikolai had common church registers.
The new name was Kirchengemeinde St. Nikolai-Johannis.
St. Johannis Church was closed by building inspectorate in the 1890's. Up to the end of World War II it was used as a warehouse for big Stettin firms. Today it is a catholic Polish church.
It is not known where the parish members met for services between 1895 and 1930. The people of the parish still existed and fought for a new church building. Finally, in the 1930's, they got the permission to build a new church - St. Nikolai-Johannis (https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andreas-Bobola-Kirche_%28Stettin%29).
In the church registers of this parish Georg Lindner is mentioned. He managed baptisms, marriages and burials between June 1935 and May 1943 - at St. Nikolai-Johannis, not St. Johannis Church.

- Tja, eine gute und interessante Fragestellung. Leider habe ich keine Antwort parat. Die Liste der Pfarrer jedenfalls steht im Artikel, seit ein unter IP schreibender Benutzer ihn im Jahre 2010 angelegt hat ([1]). Vielleicht schaut er noch mal vorbei und kann dann weiter helfen.
