Augsburg and her sister cities

This is a coordination page for the connection of Wikimedians in Augsburg and her sister cities, an idea from WikiMania 2016 as described on meta:WikiCities. We write this page in English because it is better suited for international communication than German.

For background, there have been regular meetups of Wikipedians in Augsburg every two months since 2008. So we have an active local group and we would love to connect with Wikimedians in our sister cities.

Our first step will be to search for any active Wikipedians in the cities listed below, with whom we can communicate in English or another language. If we find any, we'll try as a second step to establish friendly relations and find out if there is also interest in a WikiCities connection on the other side. If so, the third step will be to discuss ideas how we can make use of the connection, to actively collaborate in whatever way we can, and to report our successes and difficulties in media such as Wikipedia:Kurier so that other Wikimedians can be inspired by the idea too.
