Sorry for using English here, as I'm not that fluent in German. Anyway, I'd like to propose that the portions about MFE – MediaForEurope's Italian domestic businesses be split from the MFE – MediaForEurope article into an article titled Mediaset or Mediaset Italia. How do I do that in the German Wikipedia? JSH-alive (Diskussion) 10:41, 4. Apr. 2023 (CEST)[Beantworten]

Wrong, Mediaset is now MFE, that owns Mediaset Italia.--Telco4 (Diskussion) 18:25, 4. Apr. 2023 (CEST)[Beantworten]

Ignore that folk. The main point is, how to split this article into one about MFE and the other about its Italian subsidiary. JSH-alive (Diskussion) 15:51, 5. Apr. 2023 (CEST)[Beantworten]

First of all: Why should we split them? Why not lump them together? --h-stt !? 17:45, 5. Apr. 2023 (CEST)[Beantworten]
Good question. MFE is a holding company of international media businesses (which belongs to Silvio Berlusconi's Fininvest), while Mediaset (or Mediaset Italia S.p.A., or the new Mediaset S.p.A. in its current form) is in charge of MFE's Italy-specific businesses.
Also, I just noticed that the German Wikipedia lacks an article about Mediaset España Comunicación, S. A. (en; es) in Spain, which is the actual majority owner of ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE. JSH-alive (Diskussion) 05:00, 6. Apr. 2023 (CEST)[Beantworten]
Wouldn't that be an argument in favor of lumping all the businesses together? Can you tell different things about them? --h-stt !? 18:56, 6. Apr. 2023 (CEST)[Beantworten]
Hmm... In that case, the list of assets in the article can be rearranged. I'll do it. JSH-alive (Diskussion) 12:41, 7. Apr. 2023 (CEST)[Beantworten]
