Wikipedia Diskussion:Frankfurter Buchmesse 2017/Deutschsprachige Autoren/1961
Hello,
Since this page is written in English I give my statement in English here.
Whoever has approved the design of this page does not seem to realize that it contains plain discrimination - by tagging some of the writers with a red sign, indicating that the writer is female. I don't know what this absurd tag is good for? Why are the male writers not tagged as to their sex?
Just delete these stigmatizing sex marks - they have no business here (and anywhere)! And don't give excuses à la: this was positively meant- to emphasize the contribution of female writers. NO! I say it again: tagging writers as to their sex is discriminating. There is no positive intention about that. It is plain discrimination.
Thanks.
