Dr. Alexander Kokhanovsky is a researcher in the field of spaceborne atmospheric remote sensing. His research is directed to better understanding of interaction of solar radiation with atmosphere-underlying surface system. He is currently working at VITROCISET BELGIUM SPRL ( Darmstadt, Germany). He has published about 300 papers and 5 books in such diverse fields as cloud optics, snow optics, aerosol optics, and polarization optics of random media.
