Bemerkung zum Artikel Kim Sanders[Quelltext bearbeiten]

Wiki page german, Kim Sanders:

i am the artist Kim Sanders and i am currently correcting the information that has been stated on this page. i am also updating my website. my father was not stationed in heidelberg, i came with my mother and the artist i sang with was Karl Keaton, not Mark Keaton (hence the name being in red). i can definitely prove that i am Kim Sanders the artist...my user name is Ksvox which is also my user name on Twitter.

Hello Ksvox! I admire the artist Kim Sanders. The problem is, anyone here can say he or she is this and that person. This is why facts should be proven by a source. I admit the possibility that sources may contain mistakes. Nevertheless, in general independent sources are in the best interest of persons described in order to prevent false information. (By the way, see also WP:IK). Yours, --Toni am See (Diskussion) 12:55, 1. Sep. 2015 (CEST)Beantworten

Hi Toni, yes perhaps anyone can say that he or she is that person, but can they prove it? i can. i'm currently correcting all the wiki information and my english wiki site does not contain the same information as the german one.

(Nevertheless, in general independent sources are in the best interest of persons described in order to prevent false information. ) but this is false information...my website is currently being updated and will state the updates that i am placing here. besides, who is Mark Keaton? if you are taking it upon yourself to write other people's wiki sites, then the sources should be checked for correct information or?

i will contact wikipedia and dispute this information. please understand, i am truly kim sanders whether you believe it or not and i don't want false information to be listed under my history.

one last thought. i will post a video on my Facebook Kim Sanders (the official page) stating that the information here is incorrect. i will be the 'source to correct it'.

best

Hello Ksvox, vielen Dank für das Video! Ich antworte nicht auf Englisch, Dein Deutsch ist doch sehr gut! :-) Hoffe, es ist im Artikel jetzt erstmal ok. Viele Grüsse --Toni am See (Diskussion) 18:45, 1. Sep. 2015 (CEST)Beantworten

Hello[Quelltext bearbeiten]

Hello Ksvox. I'm an adminstrator of the german Wikipedia. You have tried to correct some information. Actually they were always reverted. The problem is that: We cannot publicate information which wasen't publicated somewhere else before. That is against our rules. We can not prove the correctness of such information! So if you actually are the artist (which we cannot prove) than please ensure that this information is publicated somewhere else before. For example on your website. If you have further questions please ask here. I have that page on my watchlist. Best regards, Micha 14:26, 1. Sep. 2015 (CEST)Beantworten

hello Micha,

thanks for your email and information. i wasn't aware of the rules for Wikipedia and i understand this is to protect the artist. my website is currently being redone. would it be enough for me to post a video on my Facebook official page (kim sanders) with in information i wish to change here, proving that i am the artist? and could i use that video statement as proof of publication? best regards,

Kim Sanders K=(kim) s=(sanders) vox=(vocals) Ksvox

Hello Kim Sanders. I would recommend to publicate a short cv as a html page on your website. Also if it is just temporary until your new website is online. It is not necessary that you prove the correctness by video. It must be only obvious that this information is correct and the source is reliable and can be referenced. If your whole website will be redone in some days than that's not a problem because the cv is still accessible from the wayback machine (internet archives). Also if you have a cv again on the new website then we will change the reference to the new one. Just give us something which serves as a reference. Best regards, Micha 15:06, 1. Hello Micha,

i've just made the video and will post it on my FB Official site... i can speak with my web designer regarding the cv as an html (this is web talk which he speaks better than i do). but since the video is me stating the updated information, what better source could i use? my video should be able to serve an official reference i would imagine. you are welcome to look at it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p4K9DNW8Q7c

best regards,

Kim Sanders

Hello Kim Sanders. FB does not really fit the criteria for reliable sources. You can try it to refer to it but maybe the authors don't accept it. (But maybe they will because now its obvious what the correct information is and that you are the source.) The best way still would be to have it written down on a page which serves as a reliable source for such information. If your webpage is finished please take care that there is a good cv. Because everything which stands there can also flow probably in Wikipedia. --Micha 15:31, 1. Sep. 2015 (CEST)Beantworten

Hello Micha, Facebook may not fit the criteria of sources, but i used it to release a video stating the correct information and mentioning the names of the 'authors' who challenged me. am i not allowed to be an 'author' of my information? anyway, would you please be so kind and unblock me so i can correct my information? there is no better source than seeing me say the information. the previous references used were from 2003 and they are incorrect. i am correcting them. and i will put them on my site....which is still coming from ME. :) either way, written on my site or in spoke video, i am the original source and this is about me. thank you..

kind regards,

Kim Sanders
