Hallo Mtn hjs, was hast du denn bei Datei:Spanische Fussballnationalmannschaft Logo.svg vor? Ist deine Version eine bessere? Ist die alte falsch? Was ist an der neuen anders? Insbesondere die Zahl oben finde ich bei deiner Version komisch. Was soll die 1913 bedeuten? Und einen Stern oben drüber sehe ich hier auch nicht. Gibts nicht irgendwo auf der offiziellen Website vielleicht eine Abbildung?

Yes - I have no problem with English as you can see on my userpage. I hope you did understand what I wrote on your talkpage - but as you responded to the "year number" change and the "star" it seems so. :)

What exactly were the problems in creating your svg? What about using "our" old svg version as a start and modify it?

Usually we keep old logos for historic reasons. Please just upload your svg - which is good (at least I did not see any big errors) - under a new file name and just paste your text from this mail to the talk page of the new file. Then everybody knows what is going on. Thank you very much for your help! Write me the new file name and I will insert it in the article and (if needed) correct the file's license template.

Hi Saibo!

Yeah, you're right, I'm Spanish ;). Well, in fact the .png image I showed you on the e-mail was created from your "old .svg" with Photoshop, the point is I'm not very familiriazed with the creation of vectorized images. I fristly convert it with VectorMagic but the pink/blue waves were not very good in the vectorized version, as you can see in older versions of the file. Then I tried to convert it with Inskape, and even though the file on my computer was pretty good, when I uploaded it to Wikipedia I found that the re-scale was awful. So I decided to simply upload the .png version (http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Datei:Escudo_Selecci%C3%B3n_Espa%C3%B1ola_de_f%C3%BAtbol.png), but it maked no sense putting it in the Spain Team article when there's an .svg version available. Feel free to vectorize it if you know how to, or if you don't want (or can't), I will upload my last vectorized version to another different page.

Hi again, (I striked my "not" in my previous response) :-)

Okay. I have uploaded your new svg (Datei:Spanische Fussballnationalmannschaft Logo 2010 1star.svg) and asked our svg experts to fix it / redo it: Wikipedia:Grafikwerkstatt (at the bottom). Could you please say where is renders wrong? I cannot see it.

Oh - and please copy the nice explanation email you sent me to the talk page of Datei:Spanische Fussballnationalmannschaft Logo 2010 1star.svg.

Thank you for your talk page addition. However I have removed (and "stored" below) the request to improve the svg since it does perfectly render like the png if I compare both. Where to you see any problem?

By the way: you said you had problems with the svg because it looked differently uploaded and in inkscape: yes - the Mediawiki renderer has some limitations/problems. Hallo liebe Grafikwerker. Das zweite Logo sollte bearbeitet werden, dass es möglichst so aussieht wie das png. Es wurde basierend auf dem alten svg erstellt (Farben, Stern und Jahreszahl geändert) - aber es tun sich laut Uploader von II. Probleme beim Rendern auf. Vielleicht fängt man am besten neu mit mit dem Original-SVG an (das Resultat kann dann als neue Version über II. geladen werden). Danke schonmal und viele Grüße --Saibo (Δ) 23:06, 19. Dez. 2010 (CET)
