concerning Carl Goehring in your sandbox:

• the article looks good, already. I think you can publish it right away. But perhaps you can write a short text on the Diskussions-page of the new article - after publication - in which you explain that this is your first article and that you made it in the context of ........ etc. (and remember always to sign your edits in the Diskussion-space)
• Only link to a person one time in the text (or at least in a section) - for instance Joachim_Heinrich_Campe.
• I think I would link to Nationalpädagogik in stead of Pädagogik in the first section
• you can simply put the text on the empty page Carl Goehring (which is a red link until now), and just leave away the first line (with the name).
• The link to Deutschnational is not correct. It links to a disambiguation page. But I can't find a better link on that page. Deutschnationalismus is apparently an Austrian thing. see Nationalismus.
• we still need one or more Kategorien. Put them at the bottom of the page as “[[Kategorie:SoAndSo]]”. The best thing to do is look at similar articles. And copy the categories used there. In general: try to be as specific as possible. I think you can make a choice between Kategorie:Herausgeber und Kategorie:Verleger. Go through the list to see which choice fits best. I think Kategorie:Schriftsteller (Leipzig) is also a good choice (although I believe there is a certain difference between Schriftsteller und Autor in German). I'm not very good in the category-thing in general; and I don't know much about categories on de-wikipedia. But perhaps you find some more relevant categories. The categories are useful for finding articles. So it's quite important.
• Now there is another thing. In English we call it the orphan-problem. If no other page links to CG it is an orphan. And we don't want to have orphans. They are forlorn, armselig..... So think about the question: are there any pages that should have a link tot CG? And then make these links! Think for instance of the page Göring, with a list of all people with the name G. Add your Carl here!
• I again find that there is very little known or published about this person! And when you see the list of his publications! Write that in your Diskussions-beitrag! That's important.
• Perhaps you can write a line in Joachim Heinrich Campe, with a link to his “follower”?
• It is not a problem if you make some mistakes. You'll be surprised to see how fast these mistakes will be corrected!
