Lt. der Studie M. Ribiere et.al (2007) "Spread of Infectious Chronic Bee Paralysis Virus by Honeybee (Apis mellifera L.) Feces" ist eine Übertragung von CBPV durch die Varroamilbe nicht nachweisbar.
