Emmy Dörfel in the French Résistance[Quelltext bearbeiten]
It is doubtful that Emmy Dörfel was in the French Résistance. My parents knew her sister when they all lived in hiding in southern France and stayed friends thereafter. I heard that Emmy Dörfel went back to Germany after the German-Soviet Pact of 1939 "to take care of her parents." I can't prove it, but if she was arrested by the Gestapo in Germany, it probably indicates that the claim of being in the French Résistance is not correct.
