Sudetendeutscher? My German isn't good enough to explain how insulting this description is on so many levels. Perhaps it is correct in some narrow, twisted sense. But the point is that Georg Riedel is Jewish, and his parents fled from the Nazis when they stole Riedel's hometown from Czechoslovakia. He found a home in Sweden and now his life and his work define Swedish culture as Sweden has come to define him. Not unlike Josef Frank, who defined and continues to define Swedish design. I'm sorry, Swedes are entitled to embrace Jews as part of our nation, as Jews have embraced Sweden and thrived there. Given their history, Germans are not allowed to do that. In particular, it is sickening to see Georg Riedel now embraced as a volksdeutscher. The article must have been written by someone completely lacking a sense of irony - or perhaps that's redundant given that it was written by a German. Ich habe den irritierenden Teil des angesprochenen Satzes mal entfernt und hoffe, dass der Text dadurch besser wird.Elchjagd(Diskussion) 13:52, 29. Aug. 2016 (CEST)Beantworten
