herman de vries only uses lower-case for his texts, titles and his own name. Please be aware that titles and quotes follow this spelling i.e. are in lower-case, to reflect the official spelling. Er war nie Gärtner und lebt in Eschenau[Quelltext bearbeiten]
Herman de Vries worked in 1950-1951 for half a year as a farmhand ('ein Knecht' in German) on a French chicken farm (the 'Ferme Avicole de Bazainville' to be precise). He never worked as a gardener (not in France, not in the Netherlands and not in Germany) and he never worked as a 'landarbeiter' in the Netherlands. I'm not able to write in German but the article needs to be corrected on this point. The correct sentence would be: "He worked as a farmhand in France."
He returned to the Netherlands in 1951 because he landed a job as a research assistant at a government institute concerned with plant pathology (nl:Plantenziektenkundige_Dienst) until he switched jobs to work for the institute for applied biological research (Dutch: Instituut voor Toegepast Biologisch Onderzoek in de Natuur, ITBON). From 1968 until now he works full time as an artist.
He lives in the village of Eschenau, which is part of the 'gemeinde Knetzgau'. I'm not sure if "Knetzgau (Eschenau)" is the right way to put that. Naamloze gebruiker (Diskussion) 01:30, 24. Sep. 2018 (CEST)
