Mal wieder ein unverständlicher Text: Lips little developed without chin lobe. Last dorsal simple ray is about as long as head in the bigger individuals, this is ossified at base and shorter than the head (about 60-86% head length). External border of dorsal fin slightly concave. Gill rakers on 1st branchial arch. Grayish, with scales of sides slightly tinted which yellow-orange, white belly, fins pink-yellowish except for dorsal which is dark gray. Caudal margin blackish. Dorsal: 4 simple, 9 branched.
