I really fail to understand -and not because Ich kann nicht Deutsch sprechen- why you show me the source from the TDK which says that "pardesü" is wrong, and "pardösü" is right. That is also my opinion. I moved the page from the wrong title to the correct title and presented a similar TDK source for the move. --E4024 (Diskussion) 13:30, 26. Nov. 2015 (CET)Beantworten
Why do you think i disagree with you (or TDK), E4024? I even reviewed/sichtete your edits. My point is that this source TDK must be referenced in the article, not be hidden somewhere in the edit history. I just did that. Did you read the other sources i gave? Do you see any disagreements of these with the article content? ("Theoriefindung!") Will you improve the article accordingly and then remove the tag? --Atlasowa (Diskussion) 14:41, 26. Please you improve the article and add or remove the tags you consider convenient. Thank you. --E4024 (Diskussion) 15:06, 26. Nov. 2015 (CET)Beantworten

Hi E4024,

  • 1) In German Wikiculture it is considered impolite to just stick a tag on articles. It is understood as "I think something is wrong with the article but i can't be bothered to explain what exactly the issue is and i can't be bothered to try to fix it, but i expect "somebody else" to do the job to fix it." And off to the next article tagging. Wikiculture says: SOFIXIT.

  • BTW, why, do you think, WP in German is the only WP to create "such" a pardösü article? As fas as I know pardösü is a garment both men and women -in the world and in Turkey- wear. (Let me not look for an adventure in other languages, but in my mother tongue, Turkish, "pardösü" is used both for the man's and woman's garment.) Many women who wear a pardösü -covering or not their heads with a scarf- do this to protect themselves from cold and rain. I am sure there is not much need for writing an article for women who wear this garment for specific personal (...) reasons. That is WP:OR. At least under the title "pardösü". Am I clear enough? If not, I can express myself better in Turkish. Auf wiederhören. --E4024 (Diskussion) 15:15, 26. Nov. 2015 (CET)Beantworten
  • 2) Did you read the second source i linked? It's a PhD thesis, not an unreliable source and not my original research. What exactly do you think is wrong in this article? The thesis is really interesting and indepth.
  • 3) Well, it is a coat. You can say "a coat is a coat is a coat", but that is wrong especially in fashion and style. There are lots of different coats, Trenchcoat etc., see the list at Mantel. The pardösü is not the same as Pardessus (Mode), that's fashion history.
  • 4) You write "pardösü" is used both for the man's and woman's garment. Do you have a reliable source for this or is this your original research? ;-)) (This is a real question) Turkish sources are welcome.
  • 5) Why is German WP the only WP to create "such" a pardösü article? I wonder too, i don't know. Maybe it's because pardösü is also a beautiful and fascinating word. German has imported many french words (Portemonnaie for example), and Turkish has too. And both German and Turkish use ü and ö, and with similar pronunciation. That's why pardösü has a nice ring and is "translatable".

I hope we'll have a fruitful cooperation! :-) --Atlasowa (Diskussion) 19:36, 26. Nov. 2015 (CET)Beantworten
