Ich schlage vor, im Abschnitt Nach der Schlacht auch zu erwähnen, dass im August August die Belagerung von Maubeuge begann.

Maubeuge ist Artikel erwähnt (im Abschnitt 22. August: "Am linken Flügel Klucks war das deutsche IX. Armee-Korps (General von Quast) im Vormarsch auf die Festung Maubeuge und hielt die Verbindung zur 2. Armee aufrecht.")

Mattet ist Mettet

I studied a Google map trying to follow the battle and found that a few of the Belgian localities seem to be misnamed. Mattet for one should really be Mettet. In the description of the end of 22 August the places called "Merbes" and "Le-chateau" seems to be the same place "Merbes-le-Château". A bridge forced by the 2nd Guards Reserve Division due east of a placed called Ham in the text may be Hameau which is just west of a bridge across the Sambre. No Ham can be found in that vicinity, though there's a Ham-sur-Sambre east of Auvelais in the sector where the 2nd Guards Division fought. "Fort Lognelee" seems to have been named "Fort Cognelée", mistaking a C for an L is a mistake easily made. :) (nicht signierter Beitrag von 151.177.4.119 (Diskussion) 14:23, 30. Jun. 2020 (CEST))
