Tumaini University Makumira (TUMA) is the main and oldest campus of Tumaini University Makumira since 1947 with the following constituent colleges, namely; Kilimanjaro Christian Medical University College (KCMUCo), Tumaini University Dar es Salaam College (TUDARCo), Stephano Moshi Memorial University College (SMMUCo), Josiah Kibira University College (JoKUCo) and TUMA-Mbeya Teaching Centre. It became a constituent college of Tumaini University in 1997. In 2012 Tumaini University Makumira attained a fully-fledged university. Tumaini University Makumira has the following faculties: Faculty of Theology Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Faculty of Law Faculty of Education Faculty of Science and Information Technology Faculty of Business Studies
