Don Ewell (* 14. November 1916 in Baltimore, Maryland; † 9. August 1983 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida) war ein US-amerikanischer Stride Pianist und Bandleader des Dixieland Jazz.
Don Ewell wurde auf dem Peabody-Konservatorium ausgebildet. Er begann seine Karriere Mitte der 1930er Jahre in der Gegend um Baltimore und führte die Tradition des New Orleans Jazz von Jelly Roll Morton weiter. Nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg arbeitete er mit Sidney Bechet, Doc Evans, Kid Ory, George Lewis, George Brunis, Muggsy Spanier und Bunk Johnson.
Von 1956 bis 1962 war Ewell ein führendes Mitglied der Band von Jack Teagarden. Nach Teagardens Tod unternahm Ewell einige Tourneen durch Europa und hatte eine Band mit Darnell Howard, Minor Hall und Pops Foster. Er zog dann nach New Orleans und spielte dort in Clubs und Hotels.
